2022 AGM Announcement

Hey all,

It’s time again for our annual AGM. See below for the details.

Date: Nov 27th, 2022 @ 1:00pm

Locations: The Meeting will be held in the basement meeting room of Winston’s Pub. We will also have a zoom room available for members wanting to attend remotely.
Meeting Package: The meeting package will be available on the website 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Submissions for bylaw changes: The board has not proposed any bylaw changes this cycle. Any member in good standing can submit a proposed bylaw change by 11:59pm Nov 13th 2022 to have it added to the agenda.

Submissions for Agenda Items: Any member in good standing can submit an item for the meeting agenda by 11:59am Nov 20th 2022 to have it added to the agenda.

Attendance and Voting requirements: Anyone in the Saskatoon Disc Golf community is welcome to attend the meeting. Voting is restricted to Members with a current paid membership as of 11:59pm Nov 13th 2022 and are 18 years old or older at the time of the meeting.

SDG 2020 AGM Announcement

Saskatoon Disc Golf .Inc will be holding the 2020 Annual General Meeting virtually on November 29th at 3pm via Zoom.

All current 2020 SDG members in good standing as of Nov 8th, 12:00am are invited to attend.

New PDGA Sanctioned League

That’s right you better believe it! We now have a PDGA League starting up in Saskatoon.
The new league begins on Thursday, July 23rd at 6:30.
It will alongside the existing GTDG League but has separate postings.
SDG Membership is required to join the league, so if you already have one be sure to check the -$30 discount before checking out!

Gophertown Remote League 2020

This year due to Covid-19 we will run a “Remote” League as we are unable to run our regular league format. Members will play their round at any time on Thursdays at the course stated in the schedule.

The rules have changed and formats are new – please read carefully and good luck this year!

COVID-19

In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, Saskatoon Disc Golf requests that all players respect the Saskatchewan Government’s advice on social distancing and keep a minimum distance of 2 metres from other people using our courses.

All SDG Leagues, Programs & Events are currently suspended until further notice.

Registration opens for 2019 Trilogy Challenge

Registration is now open for the Trilogy Challenge happening July 7th in Saskatoon.

You can register at hereRegistration closes June 16th. 

The annual tournament offers players three different discs supplied by Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs and Westside Discs.

Provincial championships doled out at the 2017 Saskatchewan Open: North Battleford

Over 50 disc golfers from across the province and beyond competed for the crown of provincial disc golf champion at Centennial Park in North Battleford, Sask., on August 19-20.

The tournament started off with two rounds of 18 on Saturday, followed by a round of 18 from pro tees and a Super 9 layout for the top 5 finishers in each division on Sunday.

Saskatoon Open: Results

Twenty-eight disc golfers from Saskatoon, Regina, North Battleford and Medicine Hat made up the group of 28 at the 1st Annual Saskatoon Open at Diefenbaker Park.

Jonathan O’Leary finished first in the Open Division, Kai Hicks and Tyler MacKenzie tied for second place. Shawn Glass took home the best score in the Super 9 with an impressive -5.

The Top 5 finishers in the Pro Open Division: Kai Hicks, Jonathan O’Leary, Tyler MacKenzie, Andrew Neufeldt and Casey Murray, Pro Division players at the Saskatoon Open.

Andreas Goett and Chandler O’Leary took home prize packs for the Junior Division, while Logan Leblanc, Jeremy Leblanc, and Francois Biber placed top 3 in the recreational division.
