This summer Saskatoon Disc Golf Inc. is bringing the Trilogy Challenge to Diefenbaker Park on July 8.
Open Division – $55 or $50 with an SDG Membership
Amateur/ Women’s/Junior Division – $50 or $45 with an SDG Membership.
The Trilogy Challenge will be played over 2 rounds of 18 (1 round for Women’s, Amateur and Junior) at Diefenbaker Park. Prizes will only be awarded to top players in the Open division.
SDG is also offering players a $5/round Ace Pot – winner takes all.
9 am – 9:45 am: Player Pack Pickups/Player’s Meeting.
10 am: 1st round shotgun start, all divisions.
12:30 – 1 pm: Start of 2nd round (groups based on scores from 1st round) – Open division
3 pm: Wrap up, presentations, prizes.

Player packs also include a Trilogy T-Shirt, scorecard and pencil, and a Trilogy Challenge Mini.
The idea behind the Trilogy Challenge is to grow the sport of disc golf by providing beginners with everything they need to play. The event started in 2014 with 273 events around the world with just over 10,000 players competing in these events.
In 2016, the Trilogy Challenge held 326 events in 11 different countries with just over 12,000 players competing in these events.

This summer’s Saskatchewan Open is headed to North Battleford.
Saskatoon Disc Golf Inc. is pleased to announce it has selected Centennial Park in North Battleford as the location for the 2017 Saskatchewan Open running August 19th and 20th.
Established in 2013, Centennial Park boasts a beautiful 18-hole disc golf course with a mix of short technical basket locations and long open alleys. The shortest hole is measures 150 ft. The longest basket stands at 320 ft. from the tee. The park also has washrooms on site.
For out-of-town players looking to make the trip, the City of North Battleford boasts a few campgrounds close to the city including David Laird Campground, Eiling Kramer Campground and Jackfish Lake just a few minutes north of North Battleford.

On Sunday, May 7, Saskatoon Disc Golf Inc. and a few of its members picked up a few garbage bags full of trash from Diefenbaker Park in its annual clean up round.
Huge thanks to Greg Rokosh for organizing the event and bringing some prizes to hand out to participants.
SDG hopes for a similar or even better turnout May 13 when they tackle the scattered garbage at Donna L. Birkmaier.
This season members of Saskatoon Disc Golf Inc., are selling raffle tickets to draw for a portable disc golf basket.
Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10.
You must be a SDG member to purchase these tickets. Tickets will be sold during SDG sanctioned tournaments, on Thursday nights during Gophertown league night and at Doug’s Spoke ‘N Sport and Escape Sports.
The draw will take place at the SDG annual general meeting later in the fall.
