There are plenty of events planned each summer! Playing in these events is a great way to meet fellow disc golfers, and also support the community. Participating in these events also support further course development.

Even if you’re not playing in all of these events — you might be interested to know which days our courses will be busy. Check discgolfscene and the SDG Facebook group for up to date schedules.

Ice Bowl – January

Brave the cold! 100% of proceeds from this event are donated to the Saskatoon Food Bank. 2026 will be the 23rd Annual Ice Bowl!

Spring Membership Drive – Early May

This is the event that absolutely everyone should be signing up for.  Your support allows us to run more programs, events, and contributes to new courses and course upgrades, thank you for your support!  The price of admission to this event also gets you a Saskatoon Disc Golf Membership for the year, which entitles you to all kinds of benefits that can be found here. It’s a bargain!

Escape Sports Open

The Escape Sports Open is our flagship PDGA sanctioned tournament for the summer. There are Pro, Amateur, and Junior course layouts. If you’re at all interested in the Saskatoon competitive Disc Golf scene at any level, this is your event!  View the 2025 results here!

NADGT Canada

Annually Saskatoon hosts an event as part of the National Amateur Disc Golf Tour! Typically a PDGA C-tier event hosted at Diefenbaker park.
